" The men of CR Division are responsible for handling an average of 1200 messages a day, and sometimes as many as 2000! The are responsible for the transmission and reception of all electrical communications. In addition the message processing center serves as a relay station to smaller ships in company with INDY. Their procedures include circuit operation, internal and external routing of messages, and reproduction of messages for over the counter delivery.
