We made history!
The FIRST military force to defend
"Saudi Arabia" and Kuwait when Saddam
invaded Kuwait City on August 3rd, 1990.
The Indy was on station on August 6th,
and the first U.S. carrier to perform
operations in the Persian Gulf since 1974!
